We love this house. You can't beat the location. Our only complaint is the same every visit - cleanliness. Bathrooms were very clean, but the whole kitchen needs a deep clean. We LOVE Blue Water Resort Rentals and choose them every time for our annual beach vacation. Thank you for the best customer service!

Woman at rental office was very nice and welcoming. Disappointed with online pictures of beach access versus reality. Online photos show there is beach access very close to the house to the right with beach directly in front of the house. This was not true. The access was broken and there wasn’t beach in front of the house, just water. This isn’t the reality company’s fault, but the pictures really should be update online. However, there was another access that was just a short walk, so it worked out fine. Also, the cleanliness of the house was just fair. Window seals hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Walls had some smears on them. Fridge hadn’t been cleaned out well at all, old gunk all in it and outside grimy. The sliding glass doors outside on balcony were very dirty with old bird droppings all over them and the screen, very obvious this hadn’t been clean in awhile. Broken ceiling tile in bunk bed room needs to be fixed, my kids refused to sleep in there because of it.. Lastly, there was very little toilet paper, no paper towels, and no trash bags provided. I expected to at least have a trash bag in the trash can when we arrived minimum, so we did have to run to the store and buy those things. However, I many have missed something about needing to supply these things in the contract and just didn’t remember. Make sure to bring bug spray! I didn’t expect a beach house to be in perfect condition, but I did expect it to be a little cleaner than it was. Overall, it was a good beach house that was functional and the kids had a great time!

When we arrived at the house it was not very clean counters were dirty dishes hadn't been properly washed Toilets dirty. II day Power went out and half of the house was shorted Out.Coffee maker microwave and refrigerator all were out.None of these appliances ever came back on and if you tried to turn on a light It would short out the TV.$500 worth of groceries in the refrigerator went bad. Try the emergency number no answer.Tried the backup emergency number no answer.The 3rd day More more power was going out to different outlet and switches. Still couldn't get a hold of anyone. My wife went downstairs to the laundry room got shocked when she touched the dryer. Overall experience was terrible.Checked out And was unable to get anything resolved staff said they needed to contact the homeowner.Ben home for 4 days still haven't heard anything from anyone. I strongly recommend not renting this house. There is also no beach access anymore.The water is 2' deep where it used to be 30' of beach.This is not the resorts problem but it is your problem if you think you're going to the beach!

We had a great time and will return! The location can't be beat with amazing views and the walkover to the beach right out front. Easy walk to the grocery store and a restaurant. Ample parking under the deck and the outdoor shower/hose were very handy. The house is dated, but in good working order. It was very hot weather, and the AC worked great! We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Beds were comfy and the living room furniture seemed new and was very nice. Front deck is great with nice outdoor furniture. My only complaint was the cleanliness. When we arrived, we could tell it had been cleaned, but not with much detail: sticky spots on the kitchen counter, furniture not swept under/behind, grooves in tabletop had collected food particles, many pillows, mattress/boxspring covers had stains. Sheets and towels smelled clean but some were stained. Many dishes needed to be washed before we could use them, rotting food in the bottom of the kitchen trash can under the trash bag, etc. Bathrooms were nicely cleaned, though. I wish I could give 5 stars because we had such a great time, but cleanliness really was lacking.

Overall, the vacation rental experience was excellent. The house was in great condition and everything worked (i.e. the appliances). Good water pressure. Nice furniture. Great view. Would recommend TV's in the other two rooms.

Fantastic house, Excellent AC, Lots of kitchen accessories, beach toys, excellent tv reception, Wi-Fi worked great. Directly across from beach. We've been to Surfside several times and this was the best property we've ever stayed at. I highly recommend this property. Thanks for a great time.

Beach front close to shopping very friendly town with police presence every couple hours

Location was perfect. Full size washer and dryer downstairs. Safe friendly neighborhood. Bad roaches in the kitchen. So bad I had to keep all open food in the fridge. They would crawl on the stove as I cooked. Would definitely go back to this location if the company would bomb for roaches.

We absolutely love this house and enjoy our time there. We wish the down stairs shower had a door on it but it's no biggie. We have had no issues staying here. The internet had a problem at first but was quickly resolved . Highly recommend.

Please be aware that there are several issues going on with the property. It has a strong mold mildew smell, there were no sheets on the larger beds, the screen door was torn all along the bottom, the table and chairs outside are rusted and dangerous, we were afraid of being cut and had to put a twin comforter over the table, the lounge chair was so rusted the back broke off. There are popping noises in the floorboards throughout the home. A drone hovered over the deck for about five minutes watching us and we had to call the police. Management has been contacted about all of the above and a partial refund requested but we haven't heard back.

We loved this house i wish the outdoor shower had a door on it but other than that . This place was awesome. Right off the beach very cozy. We had slight issue with internet here and there but who doesnt. When we got there we couldnt get into the storage room they sent someone out immediately. It was fixed . The house was nicely decorated. Tv in master bedroom and living room . We stayed a week and i didnt want to leave

It was great. The house was clean and nice and the gulf view was pretty. I wish there was a roof over some of the deck so there would be shade during the daytime.

This house was the perfect location an was so relaxing! We will be back for sure!

We had an amazing stay in Surfside Beach. None of us were ready to come home.
The house was literally right on the beach. You could feel the ocean breeze/winds, hear the waves hit the shore, watch boats come in and out, see cruise ships out in the distance. Just an amazing experience.

Stayed a week, house was comfortable. Loved the large dining table, perfect for family games. Great location. I would suggest new pillows/cushions for sofas.

Location is perfect! Sleeps 8, not 10. We had to purchase an air mattress for our 9th person - the "couch" is NOT some place the elementary-aged child could sleep. Broken lamp, busted couch cushions, no pot holders, dirty pots/pans/cups and eating utensils (soaked pans for 2 days and they still could not be scrubbed clean). Molded coffee grounds left in coffee maker. We had to make our beds when we arrived and had to clean the house before we left. It isn't"vacation" if I am having to ensure the place is spotless before the cleaning crew comes in after I have left.

We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the house. We came to enjoy the surf and we did on the large deck. We had a 4 yo who was fine on the enclosed deck....couldn’t escape! The beds were comfy enough We had a great time. I have a few suggestions. The outside stairway needs reflective tape on the stair edges, my brother fell but was fine.please add a couple of small nonstick frying pans. The SS one provided was impossible to clean. PLEASE REPLACE THE BUILT IN COUCHES! They are uncomfortable, hard and too low. Pretty, but unusable. There are several lightbulbs which need replacing.

House was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint would be the couches were so uncomfortable we preferred sitting on the floor

What an awesome time. I had some minor surgery the day of check in and needed some recovery time. This worked out perfectly. My wife and I got a desperately need getaway and I got my recovery time. It was so relaxing just being on the patio and enjoying the ocean view. The house was bigger than she and I needed but was perfect in every way. The location was just far enough away yet close enough to get anything we needed. We will definitely consider renting this house again.

Great location for walking on the beach. Great for our small family and could have expanded to fit with family friends.

We had a great stay for a week with our family. Views were gorgeous with a large porch to enjoy the ocean sounds/views. Manager was easy to work with for check-in and check-out. We would highly recommend this location and we hope to be back.

we booked 5 nights - The weekend we went was the weekend Beta was in the Gulf We had to leave after spending only one night. We received a refund for the other nights the home we stayed in was wonderful and I will use this company again

Overall, this was a great rental. Excellent location. Thought the seawall would be an issue but even my sister (suffering with dementia) could navigate the rocks. Of note, this house does not sleep 10. 8 at best unless you bring inflatable mattresses. The couches do not come close to sleeping comfort. The bunk beds are best suited for children under 10 and not teenagers or adults. Too weak. Queen and king beds were in great condition. The patio chairs do need replacing because of rust. In fact, one of them collapsed when my 15 yr old tried to use it. Would be nice to have a patio table as well.

All in all, it was a good house. Great location. Good amenities. Great value. We'll definitely return.

P.S., bring your own pillows and extra blankets.

For the price you cannot beat the location. Reached out a couple times to the management company with no response. Also was misquoted on price once. With that said, it’s the best bang for your buck. They did replace the sliding balcony door. New fridge too and dishwasher. Only one pillow per person (small pillows). The couch cushion and pillows really need replaced. Also this only sleeps 10. Not 11

The house was well furnished with a nice open plan between the living room kitchen and eating area. Lots of seating. The couch could use better cushions. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again!

The rental was booked on-line and was an easy process. They called the arrival morning to confirm and answer questions. When we arrived house was dirty and had not been cleaned. I called the office and they sent someone right over. It was disappointing to arrive and then have to wait 2 hours to go inside but the promptness was fantastic and the cleaning lady did a great job. The location of this house says it all! It was so nice being so close to the water! The house needs a little TLC, and the couch definitely needs to be replaced, but we had such a great time here and made so many fun memories! The place does have a bbq grill, I asked that and was told no, but they do in fact have 2 so don't bring your own like I did. You have to strip your bedding which is weird, but must just be a surfside area thing. However you leave your comforter so I guess that doesn't get washed which is kinda gross, but kitchen is fully stocked and would definitely stay there again!

Relaxing stay but the house did not live up to the description of the facilities.

Our week at Surfside was relaxing and what we were looking for. Our house was on the first row from the Gulf so we always had a beautiful view. From the back balcony we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The rental staff were responsive and helpful when any issues arose.

We spent most days inside the house, due to the rain and TS Isabella hitting while we were there. There were a couple of things that could have been better. Dish Network wasn't working, so we could only watch HD TV in the bedroom, and ROKU free in the living room. The "couches" were awful - homemade versions with little cushion, but we stacked them on each other to make them where we could sit on them. Overall, we had a great time, the house a/c worked fabulously.

The location was wonderful, just across a small one way street from the beach. No fast traffic. The house was clean. I found the linen package a little off putting as we had to make the beds when we arrived & strip them when we left, but I think this is normal for this area as I had friends with a different rental company stay and they had the same thing. The only issue I had with the house was the sliding patio door, it was difficult to open and close and I worried about it coming off the track & being charged for damaging the house.

This home and location to the beach was way beyond my expectations. The home was fully equipped with kitchen appliances and cookware. The home was very clean and had a supply of bedding sheets and bath towels. We could not have asked for a better location. We literally were able to walk across the road and set up an awning and chairs right on the beach. In the evening we relaxed on the deck with a beautiful view of the water. We will for sure stay here again.

This is our first time at Beachpoint. We have visited Surfside three times with our family but stayed in another house. We had three kids and three adults. The house was a perfect size for us. The location is also perfect for walking to the beach or sitting on the deck enjoying the view. We had an issue with the air conditioning but the rental company had someone there quickly. The washer and dryer is downstairs which was an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. The sliding glass door is a little hard for kids to open but we loved that the porch was enclosed and we didn’t have to worry about the kids leaving the area. Overall I would recommend this property. We would rent it again.

Ignore ANY negative reviews. This place was wonderful. WiFi worked well. A/C worked wonderfully. This place has good bones, very clean. We filled the house with family and friends and everyone was comfortable. The dogs even loved it. Sitting under the balcony in the shade just across from the beach was a wonderful experience.

The house was clean, has an open concept and lots of seating. As for the house being maintained, the windows are separated from the frames. Some of the windows do not close all the way. Which didn't bother us because we had cool weather. The back sliding glass door (which faces the beach) needs to be replaced. It took a few people to open and close that door and came off the tracks a few times. We vacuumed the railing hoping that would help but the sliding door is far too old. The family did enjoy the house and we will be back!

The location cannot be beat! Right on the beach with nice views and an easy walk over for fun. The beds were very comfortable. Cooking items were old and in bad shape, wash everything first before using. And the house could use a good vacuum. Dust balls everywhere and cleaned about an inch of black fuzz off the air vents. Also, couch is built in and cushions are past their prime so very hard surface for the only seating area in the house.

This house is simple, but the location can't be beat. Walking distance to restaurants & stores and right on the beach!

My house was flooded by Hurricane Harvey and unlivable. We were fortunate to find Beachpoint. It's a very nice place, clean and right on the beach. We are living here until our home can be lived in again. I recommend it highly.

We were so thrilled to be able to rent Beach Point. The location was perfect, right on the beach. The facility was roomy, clean, and affordable. We had 9 people staying and there was plenty of places to sleep. There was a great outdoor shower plus 2 bathrooms. Great vacation.
My only complaint is the living room seating is not very comfortable since it is a built-in sofa and love seat.

This is our third time at Beach Point. You really cannot beat the location. We will be back next year.

We took our first family vacation to Surfside. We used the same realtor that we used 35 plus years ago. Long standing business and great people at Bluewater resort. We stayed at Beach Point house. The owner could update the furniture. One of the beds was in bad shape. The house said it sleeps 11 people. But only accommodate 10.The sleep chair was broken. We reported this to the agency,and they were going to speak to the owner. Over all we had a great vacation. We would rent again from the Bluewater resort. They are wonderful people.

Our entire family stayed here. We were expecting to feel crowded, but it was really nice. The dryer died while we were there and the owner took care of it right away. The beach access and walking distance to restaurants is great. Plenty of room to sleep, cook, eat, and everything we needed and wanted to do.

Best place to rent from, have been in the business for a very long time. Excellent customer service. Property was exactly as described, would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Surfside Beach. we have been coming to Surfside Beach for about 20 years now. We've stayed in this Beach house several times - Love it. Right on the beach.

It was good until the people next door moved in with 3 large dogs that never stopped barking.They were left on front deck and barked at everything that moved. We love dogs but this was unbearable. We left a day early.

The house was great. There was no bath mat in one of the bathrooms. Also there was no rug or mat at the entry doors. Which I think is a must. I put a beach towel down to help keep the sand at bay.

The house was perfect for our annual gathering of friends. I could not have picked a better location in Surfside. I will be crossing my fingers that I'm able to book again next year.

View from the deck is amazing. Some of the furnishings are outdated, but the property is clean, and spacious. Brannan Realty Associates are very courteous and helpful.

We spent a week at Beach Point and really enjoyed it. The location of this house could not be better when you have little ones. Surfside always has a well maintained beach that is family friendly. The house was clean and is easy to keep clean, tile floors and vinyl couch cushions are great with little kids. There is plenty of parking, the washer and dryer both work good. The view is awesome. We spend a week in Surfside every year and this house was very good for the price.

This was definitely my kind of place. The houses location was perfect. The porch had the best view day or night. The only downfall was the seaweed that came in but that is beyond anyones control. We had a great time at the beach house. The problem was the kelp on the beach and everything that it created(Gnats and Flies that stung). It was very annoying and uncomfortable to enjoy the beach.

We enjoyed Beach Point very much. The location is perfect. It is front row on the pedestrian beach. We highly recommend this rental. The folks at Brannan rentals are very accommodating.

This is our second stay at this house. It was the most relaxing week we have ever had. From crab leg dinners on the deck to getting too much sun while swimming in the ocean we had a blast. Long walks on the beach hand in hand and with our Cocker, Raven. It was just a wonderful time. Surfside is truly one of Texas' best kept secrets. We are returning in December, can't wait!

We liked the fact that it had cement under the house it really saved us. We had always rented houses with sand under it really saved the house. The view was awesome, you could see the jetty the big ships going in and out. My dad really enjoys that. We walked everywhere. Close to the convenient store. Great location. Would recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!!
