PAYMENT, FEES, REFUNDS, CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
- 40% of the base price is required at booking and reservation.The balance (60%) is due two (2) weeks PRIOR to check-in.
- Credit Cards accepted - Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.
- Cash and Check accepted (A $35.00 fee will be charged for returned checks).
- All rental charges will include a 3% Convenience Fee and Cleaning and Laundry Fee.
- ALL PROM RENTALS require a $1,000 CASH security deposit and a valid credit card in the renter's name on file. This will be returned if there are no damages or extra cleaning.
- A $50 fee will be charged for a change of dates in the same house.
- If a cancellation is requested, the 40% deposit is forfieted unless the property is rented for the exact date and amount of the cancellation.
- All qualifying refunds/security deposits will be issued within 30 days after the check-out date.
- All non-qualifying refunds may be due to the following:
- Violations to any of Bluewater policies, rules and check-out procedures
- Illegal act, policy violation and/or city ordinance violation from anyone within your party and/or city ordinance
- Damage done to any of the properties managed and/or owned by Bluewater Resort Rentals
- Must be at least 25 years of age to book any reservation and provide a major credit card.
- On-line reservations are not automatically confirmed until you receive confirmation correspondence from our office.
- Holiday weekends require a four night minimum.Alll other rentals are a three night minimum.
LAUNDRY AND LINENS
- All beach house rentals WILL INCLUDE the laundry/linen rental package. There are NO excepions.
- Laundry package includes the following: One set of sheets and pillow cases for each bed that the house sleeps. Also includes one towel and one wash cloth for each person that the house sleeps along with dish rags. Beach house has bedspread and pillows. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is NOT included in the rental rate.
- Clean laundry is delivered to each house. RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING CLEAN LINENS ON THE BEDS AND FOR TAKING DIRTY LAUNDRY OFF THE BEDS WHEN CHECKING OUT AND PLACING THEM IN THE LAUNDRY BAGS PROVIDED. (Leave mattress pads and bedspreads/comforters on beds.)
- Please bring your own beach towels as we do not furnish them.
GENERAL INFORMATION/POLICIES
- During office hours you will come to our office located at 246 Bluewater Highway in Surfside Beach, Texas. Check in time is 4 p.m. and check out time is not later than 11 a.m.
- Houses have one roll of toilet paper per bathroom upon arrival. Renter is required to furnish all toilet paper after that. Houses DO NOT come with paper products, laundry detergents, garbage bags, shampoos, or bath soaps.
- Smoking is NOT allowed inside homes. Do not throw cigarette butts in the yard. There will be a charge to remove debris from yard.
- Windows must be kept CLOSED to keep moisture and salt air out of home to prevent damge to electrical sytems/appliances.
- People other than those in the Guest party set forth above, may not stay overnight in the property. Any other persons in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guest are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit on the website.
- Guest should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbes neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. If police are called at any time for disturbances, renter may be required to leave and will lose all deposits and rents.
- All units are privately owned. The owners are not responsble for any accidents,injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressely assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premise or others whom they invite to use the premises.
- Renter agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and understands that appliances are to be used for their intended use only.
- Not all units allow pets but those that do, a non-refundable pet deposit of $100 is required.
- Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only and NOT in yards or over septic lines/tanks. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing. Applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Any damage to septic lines/tanks or yards are the responsibility of the Guest party.
- Any garbage MUST BE stowed in the property garbage receptacles outside the homes. Trash bags (furnished by renter) must be used for all garbage. Garbage recepticales must not be brought upon porches.
- It is extremely dangerous to B-B-Q on porches or decks and therefore is not permitted.
- DO NOT allow anyone to climb, stand, sit or jump from roofs. DO NOT sit on porch railing.
GENERAL INFORMATION/POLICIES CONTINUED
- City Ordinance prohibites any glass containers on the beach area.
- Do not walk, drive, or play in the sand dunes or tall grassy areas. These areas are protected by law. There are cactus, snakes and other unpleasant animals in the dunes.
- DO NOT pour greases into sinks. It will clog them up.
- DO NOT burn christmas trees as they are dune protection.
- It is recommended that you bring bottled water for drinking and cooking.
- Most homes are on a well and septic system. The mineral content in the water is high and during a drought, the well water may have an odor and discoloration. The septic system is very effective, however it will clog up if improper mateial is used. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminie products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged for damages up to $250.
HURRICANE POLICY
- In the event of a hurricane/tropical storm/depression should threaten the city of Surfside Beach, a refund less prorated rent will be offered for those rental dates directly affected by a MANDATORY evacuation order only.
LOST AND FOUND
- Call us immediately if you have left something behind. We can mail it to you for a fee of $30. Any items unclaimed will be considered abandoned after 30 days from your departure.
REPAIRS
- Despite our best efforts to keep our houses in working order, appliances and utilities can become an issue. There are many times we must wait patienly for parts and/or service. Please report your problems as soon as possible so we can resolved it in a timely manner. Refunds ARE NOT GIVEN for electronic, aircondition/heater, or appliance failure.

WE ONLY PROCESS AND USE THE DATA OBTAINED THROUGH THIS SITE FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES YOU'VE AUTHORIZED FOR YOUR TRANSACTION, BASED ON THE RENTAL AGREEMENT FOR YOUR RESERVATION. WE DO NOT SELL CUSTOMER INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES.
